St. Paulinus is a Church of England Primary School. We have very close links with our Parish Church of St. Paulinus. Classes take it in turns to attend the weekly Wednesday morning Eucharist Service at St. Paulinus Church.
Our daily Act of Worship takes place in the school hall and is led by either Father Antony Lane, the Parish Priest, other local clergy, the Head Teacher or by School Staff.
Religious education is taught following the syllabus agreed with the Diocese of Rochester. Pupils are taught about Christianity with the exception of two half terms in Years 3, 4, and 5, where the focus is on another world religion.
Parents have the right to withdraw children from religious education teaching and from the daily act of worship. However, it is anticipated that by choosing St. Paulinus, parents will support the Christian ethos and teaching of the school.
