On 21st May we had our Chemistry at Work day in school. We had presenters visit and teach us lots of exciting Science.
We learnt about bee keeping, molecules, fingerprinting, photography, the digestive system, planting and more. We were lucky to see many presentations, do our own experiments, learn Science songs and watch Chemistry in action.
2 ex-students (George and Dotun) who now attend Haberdashers came along with one of their teachers for the day and helped the children make electric circuits.
We also had a class from Christ Church C E School in Battersea visit us for the day and they joined in with the workshops. Their Head Teacher, Mrs Morris taught the Year 3 children how to make paper plant pots and the children planted their own seeds.
It was a fun day for everyone and we all learnt something new!
