Welcome to year 2!

Hello Year 2,

Welcome back, year 2! I hope you have had a wonderful and restful Easter holiday and that you are ready for the exciting Summer Term ahead.

 

I have updated the Half Term Medium Plans ready for the start of the new term and the Spelling overview. There is also a Foundation Subject suggested homework, should the children wish to complete one.

Please remember:

• PE days: Tuesday and Thursday 
• Homework update: Every Monday homework books need to be in school. We will complete the spelling test and give out new words. Homework books come back home on Tuesday. 
• Times Tables Rock Stars will have a weekly task to complete online.
• Reading : The ELS Book needs to be read every day and returned to school with the reading record every Friday. I will check parent's recordings and return the pack with a new book. Sharing books can be changed as often as needed. 
• Also be aware that AMADEUS Academy have produced a sequence of video lessons that will help parent and children understand calculation strategies.
